From commercial to Close Air Support, our glasses have seen action across the globe. Deciding it was finally time for a high-flying metal aviator, we aimed for the sky.
The Nimitz is inspired by the namesake of the dominating NIMITZ class aircraft carriers and is a squared-off metal frame aviator, featuring a metal rim, with modern flat lenses and our signature bold branding on the arm. So whether you're ripping AIM-9X’s off the rails, running airspace from the tower, or just need a great pair of sunglasses to seek the heat in— you can trust that the Nimitz has the thrust to get you off the deck.
This style designates our first unisex addition to the GOLD line and works great on both male and female faces.
Customize YOUR fit
Easily customize the fit with arms that feature a wire core embedded within the polycarbonate frame that allows you twist, bend, and mold them to make them fit you perfectly.
More about the Nimitz
The frame is finished in a satin gun metal finish, detailed with a knurled pattern on the temple and brow. These glasses can be adjusted to your head shape with bendable wire core arms covered in a gloss smoke gray polycarbonate with black chrome Heat Wave logos. This metal aviator platform is non-customizable, and features a hefty metal spring hinge for added flexibility when it comes to width comfort.
