Future Tech Sunglasses: SUPER Photochromic Lens Z87+

Wizard-like photochromic lenses are now available for the Future Tech. These adaptive lenses adjust from a light black to a darker black tint depending on the light intensity in your environment and boast a wide VLT range at 40%-10%

The Future Tech is the future of high-speed performance. Aggressive, loud and innovative beyond any pair of sunglasses before them. The Future Tech incorporates a multitude of cutting-edge features that compliments its overall futuristic design that enables them to stand on their own in the performance and safety category.

Features include 1.9mm thick lenses, with side shield protection for a package that meets Z87+ standards out of the box. Hytrel® touch points on the nose and arms allow for a comfortable all-day fit that grips and stays in place.

Standard vs. Super Photochromic

If our standard Photochromic lenses are wizard-like, the Super Photochromic is the Archmage of lens transition. Super Photochromic lenses get way darker than before by going from a mildly tinted 40% to a darker 10% VLT. From rummaging through your toolbox or taking a direct hit of retina-roasting rays—you get the perfect level of shade.

Texas sun has nothing on Heatwave

"These glasses are so great, I had the original and these work well even on the sunnie days. They also work very well in the early morning while working in the shop. Even going outside in the morning with the glasses you can still see very well. The size of the glasses are great as well. I would day i have a large head and they feel snug. If youre looking for a pair of glasses that you can use at any time of day for work, then look no further. Definitely worth the money."

"Favorite glasses by a long shot. Wore them for 2 weeks at work and enjoyed them, unfortunately I left them on the table and they were picked up and hauled away by somebody with sticky fingers."

Q&A

On the photochromic and super photochromic glasses in the pictures there is a decal of some sort on the lenses that says they are photochromic. Does that feel off? If not is it visible when wearing the glasses?
Yes the photochromic lenses are laser etched "photochromic' on the top corner of the left lens. It is not in your line of sight when wearing the shades.
Can this glasses be used inside a commercial building? Or are they too dark for indoors ?
They will be pretty dark if you are mainly using them indoors, I would suggest the normal photochromic lenses in that case.
If they are too small for my head, can I do a refund? Or is there a measurement chart I can work with?
Here is a link to our frame size chart where you can see and compare the different sizes of our frames side by side: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0346/5945/files/Heatwave-Specs_Chart-2025_compressed.pdf?v=1743471162
3 years ago, order#564353, I ordered your Future Tech Sunglasses: Ultra Black Z87+ with the 'illegal to drive' 6% vlt. Even having sat on them, they snapped back together and are still fine! Being light-sensitive, the 6% is a true wonder when driving into the sun. As a matter of fact, they're so dark I actually do need to take them off before full dark & indoors. Now you're telling me I can get almost as good (7% vlt) photochromatic lenses? So I can be real lazy and NEVER take them off?! So, the real questions: 1) Do the have a polarized option? 2) Can I just get lenses, and snap them into my existing frames, or do I need buy full set?
We do not make a polarized option, We do not have the lens by itself yet BUT we will have them available at the end of July.
