For the NIMITZ black, we went all out end equipped this pair with our darkest ULTRA Black lenses. The ULTRA Black lens has the tint (VLT) cranked down to 6%, compared to industry standards of 11% - These lenses are DARKER and legally should not be used when operating a vehicle. On the other hand, these are the ultimate bright outdoor lens. Whether you are on the snow, sand, a white rooftop or just want the ultimate poolside shark lurking lens these are for you.

"I absolutely love the Nimitz. I have never been able to find a pair of Aviator style sunglasses that look right on my face, so I thought that I would try the Nimitz because of the square frame design. Let me tell ya, it's my favorite pair of sunglasses that I've every owned. "I have owned several pairs of Heatwaves over the years, and this pair is by far my favorite. These aviator look and feel extremely premium, and not flimsy like most other aviators out there.
