If our standard Photochromic lenses are wizard-like, the Super Photochromic is the Archmage of lens transition. Super Photochromic lenses get way darker than before by going from a mildly tinted 40% to a darker 10% VLT. From rummaging through your toolbox or taking a direct hit of retina-roasting rays—you get the perfect level of shade.

The performance line is a complete evolution in product - We’ve taken our ultra-sleek Quatro frame and given it a complete overhaul, finally making them Z87+ featuring new performance arms, with an integrated Quick-Latch side-shield system. In the comfort department you will find rubberized touch points throughout the frame also ensuring that the frames stay in place on your face. The cherry on top of the performance line is a lens matched side shield melds form and function together for a look that is flat out stunning and is entirely unique to the performance line.

Performance line features include 2mm thick lenses that meet ANSI Z.87 mass impact requirements plus an all-new extended length arm, specifically designed for our standard frame range, with new beveled emblems.

The all-new Quick-Latch side-shield system provides lateral protection from debris and unwanted side light meeting ANSI Z87+ standards with side shields installed. Rubberized Hytrel® inserts are strategically placed in the arms and, notably, now the nose bridge for a fit that is not only more comfortable, but grips and stays in place.

"Heatwave, these Quatro shades perform greatly in and out of sun and they look dope, pulling compliments and inquiries from ladies and guys alike !! Unfortunately, they fit my face too big, so I have to constantly adjust them since they don’t actually stay on my face and when I’m sweating it gets worse !! If they had like a size down or a “slim” version of these, would be my go-to shades. Overall, I love the performance and the style, so the sizing is the only complaint for me."

I love everything about them,

"I love everything about them, except for the frames. I was really interested in Super Photochromatic lenses for work and they worked great for that, unfortunately, Heatwave only offers super photochromatic in their pro series which do not have ear hooks and messes with my hard hat, causing them to constantly fall off my face. I never had this problem with all 3 of my other pairs ( Lazer Face and Vise, not pro). I can’t even use them and they were more expensive, I’m disappointed now"

Do these fog up? I would like these but I don’t see a pair the does not fog up and turns dark in the sun I use mask and I really want these but I don’t want them to fog up
