Wizard-like photochromic lenses are now available for the Performance Line. These adaptive lenses adjust from a clear to dark tint depending on the light intensity in your environment and boast a wide VLT range at 75%-17%

We took the unmistakable design of the Lazer Face® and added an extra 10mm in width and jacked up the ride height to 5mm to provide larger than life comfort and coverage.

Introducing a complete evolution in product - We’ve taken the one that started it all and given the Lazer Face® a complete overhaul, making them Z87+ out of the box, featuring new performance arms, with an integrated Quick-Latch side-shield system. In the comfort department you will find rubberized touch points throughout the frame also ensuring that the frames stay in place on your face. The cherry on top of the performance line is a lens matched side shield melds form and function together for a look that is flat out stunning and is entirely unique to the performance line*

Performance line features include 2 mm thick lenses that meet ANSI Z.87 mass impact requirements plus an all-new extended length arm, specifically designed for our standard frame range, with new beveled emblems. The all-new Quick-Latch side-shield system provides lateral protection from debris and unwanted side light meeting ANSI Z87+ standards with side shields installed. Rubberized Hytrel® inserts are strategically placed in the arms and nose for a fit that is not only more comfortable, but grips and stays in place.

Meets Z87+ Requirements

The Lazer Face lens is injection molded from 2mm shatter-resistant polycarbonate that is built to withstand Z87 Mass Impact Standards.

Designed with dual purpose in mind. Performance + safety with unparalleled functionality. Each pair meets or exceeds Z87+ standards right out the box with side shields in place.

Quick detach side-shields provide lateral protection and allow the frame to meet ANSI Z87+ requirements and is boldly marked Z87+ on the frame, arm and lens.

Disclaimer: Side shields must be in place to satisfy Z87+ requirements. Incorrect removal or installation of parts may void Z87 compliance. It is the wearers responsibility to make a visual inspection on glasses to ensure all parts are secure and that the glasses are in good condition before each use.

Side-shields are easily removed and installed with a slide of the integrated lever making swaps effortless and more intuitive than ever before with no wear on the frame or side shield.

Lens Technology

The variable tint range of these lenses adjusts from a very clear 75% to a very chill 17% VLT of darkness, all in under 30 seconds. So when you're inside your garage grinding off all the bubblegum welds from a sweet barn find C10, you'll have crystal clear, z87 protection. When it's time to jam outside for the 5th Home Depot run of the day, the lenses will smoothly transition from clear to grey in a matter of seconds.

While these will NOT get as dark as our standard Black lenses. We picked a transition lens to provide ideal clarity indoors and as dark as possible outdoors to maximize the wearer's utility of this eyewear.

2mm thick Polycarbonate lens meets or exceeds mass impact requirements for Z87 standards, injection molded to the highest standards and tested to ensure optimal clarity, along with color and light transmission standards.

We use only the highest quality photochromic filters on our lenses for optimal glare reduction and supreme clarity

The one that started it all, the unmistakable Lazer Face® is the ULTIMATE statement piece utilizing a 2mm thick, 6C base single lens, that is curved on both the horizontal and vertical axis for optimal clarity.

The lens is structurally supported by a durable polycarbonate sub-frame, which is positioned entirely behind the lens giving the Lazer Face® its unique ALL-LENS look when worn. This mass impact and shatter resistant lens is secured to the frame using stainless steel hardware, allowing the Lazer Face® to meet ANSI Z.87 requirements, and Z.87+ with side shields.

The nose piece and arms feature a no-slip rubber-like insert made from extremely resilient and sustainable Hytrel® (TPC-ET thermoplastic elastomer) ensures the glasses stay comfortable in place on the face, while original Heat Wave performance arms wrap them securely around the head. All parts are replaceable on the Lazer Face®, including the lens, nose piece, frame and arms.

One could say this is closer to a 2XL in the looks department, but as far as measurements go the XL Lazer features an added 10mm in width and 5mm height and measures in at 152mm wide.

"I bought these looking for some new standard issue safety glasses for our inspectors since we always seem to be working odd hours. . . having a set of glasses that can pull night and day duty is perfect. The wide and standard with versions and the replaceable lenses definitely make it an even better choice! Also, the glasses stay on your face pretty darn well (not as good as the Vectors though); which is pretty important on a construction site during and AZ summer where you're sweating non-stop. Nothing like looking down and having your shades fall six feet into a rebar cage that's already been formed and having to try and fish them out with mason twine. . . . And the plus side? They're super comfortable and look awesome; definitely don't look or feel like a lame pair of safety glasses when you wear them outside of work. We'll be buying more!"

Are the z87+ xl: Yes the XL Lazer Faces are all Z87 rated.
Are the performance XL Laser face polarized? I see a review saying they are but don’t see it in the item specs: We do not have polarized options for the photochromic ones but we do for the other color options.
Are the lens scratch resistant, and anti fogging?: No they are not scratch resistant or anti fog
