Performance XL VISE Sunglasses: Easy Rider Photochromic Z87+

We’ve never had a tint range like this before. Starting with a Hi-Vis Yellow lens at 87% VLT for where you need that extra visibility, transitioning all the way down to our standard Black 12% VLT when the sun’s shining. The absolute best of both worlds for when you’re out riding or putting in overtime at the site, all while staying Z87+ rated in our Performance Vise frame. This is our best-performing Photochromic eyewear yet.

Wizard-like photochromic lenses are now available for the Performance Line. These adaptive lenses adjust from a clear to dark tint depending on the light intensity in your environment, and boast a wide VLT range at 87%-12%

Boasting the same great features as the standard Vise®, The XL version are (you guessed it) EXTRA-LARGE Heat Wave frames.

We took the time-tested design of the Vise® and added an extra 10mm in width and jacked up the ride height to 5mm to provide Godzilla-like, larger than life comfort and coverage.

About The Performance XL Vise®: Introducing a complete evolution in product - We’ve taken our legacy XL Vise® frame and given it a complete overhaul, making them Z87+ out of the box, featuring new performance arms, with an integrated Quick-Latch side-shield system. In the comfort department you will find rubberized touch points throughout the frame also ensuring that the frames stay in place on your face. The cherry on top of the performance line is a lens matched side shield melds form and function together for a look that is flat out stunning and is entirely unique to the performance line.

Performance line features include 2mm thick lenses that meet ANSI Z.87 mass impact requirements plus an all-new extended length arm, specifically designed for our standard frame range, with new beveled emblems. The all-new Quick-Latch side-shield system provides lateral protection from debris and unwanted side light meeting ANSI Z87+ standards with side shields installed. Rubberized Hytrel® inserts are strategically placed in the arms and, notably, now the nose bridge for a fit that is not only more comfortable, but grips and stays in place.

The XL VISE is XTRA-LARGE and in charge. This is our best-selling XL frame and is a true XL. The VISE XL is also a great frame for those with an average to large size head, that just want a bold and roomy XL look.

As far as measurements go, the XL Vise features an added 10mm in width and 5mm height and measures in at 152mm wide for a standard XL width.

"These glasses are freaking awesome. The yellow lenses make everything look sharper and brighter, and when you step outside, they darken up like they’ve got a little attitude adjustment built in. 😂 They’re comfortable, the XL size actually fits my big head, and the Z87 rating gives me some extra confidence that they’re built for more than just looking cool. Best part? No more carrying around a pair of clear glasses and sunglasses like I’m preparing for a solar eclipse. These bad boys do both. Great fit, great optics, great transition, and they look badass. Five stars from me!"

Could be darker

"They fit good and the size is good and they fit my head like they should but I was unimpressed with how dark they get. When it’s sunny the sun will still hurt your eyes and blind you . They seem to be really good at night but could be darker and block the sun more during daylight hours, which sucks cause they are pretty expensive. I see they make a darker pair but as far as ones that have from a yellow tint transition to shades these are what you get. Was hoping these would be my last glasses but I’ll probably just wear these at night and then switch to a decent pair of shades for the daytime."

"I like the fit a bit wide but it’s good cause not squeezing my head for 12hrs a day 6days a week, at first I thought the lens didn’t change until I was in direct sunlight they went black. but in the car behind the windshield they are just tinted safety glasses make sure to think threw the xl or regular size I wear a 7. 25 hat and these are wide on my face still stay on when bending over great pair of glasses tho"
