Performance XL VISE Sunglasses Frame: Anti Fog Clear Lens Z87+

Boasting the same great features as the standard Vise®, The XL version is (you guessed it) EXTRA-LARGE sized.

We took the time-tested design of the Vise® and added an extra 10mm in width and jacked up the ride height to 5mm to provide Godzilla-like, larger than life comfort and coverage.

About The Performance XL Vise®: Introducing a complete evolution in product - We’ve taken our legacy XL Vise® frame and given it a complete overhaul, making them Z87+ out of the box, featuring new performance arms, with an integrated Quick-Latch side-shield system. In the comfort department you will find rubberized touch points throughout the frame also ensuring that the frames stay in place on your face. The cherry on top of the performance line is a lens matched side shield melds form and function together for a look that is flat out stunning and is entirely unique to the performance line*

Performance line features include 2mm thick lenses that meet ANSI Z.87 mass impact requirements plus an all-new extended length arm, specifically designed for our standard frame range, with new beveled emblems. The all-new Quick-Latch side-shield system provides lateral protection from debris and unwanted side light meeting ANSI Z87+ standards with side shields installed. Rubberized Hytrel® inserts are strategically placed in the arms and, notably, now the nose bridge for a fit that is not only more comfortable, but grips and stays in place.

The lenses feature Heat Wave Anti Fog Tech with a dual surface lens coating that prevents condensation from forming, ensuring your vision stays crystalline and your glasses stay on.

*Anti-fog coating is applied to lens only

STANDARD VS EXTRA-LARGE

The XL VISE is XTRA-LARGE and in charge. This is our best-selling XL frame and is a true XL. The VISE XL is also a great frame for those with an average to large size head, that just want a bold and roomy XL look.

As far as measurements go, the XL Vise features an added 10mm in width and 5mm height and measures in at 152mm wide for a standard XL width.

Reviews

Easy lense swap , great performance

"First time I’ve ever lost a pair of heatwaves , BUT it was super easy to order the exact same pair and get a fair price on them . I love these XL vise frames. I’m running 2 sets of lenses ( photocromaic and the polarized fire storm. It’s awesome I can swap them out in 30 seconds. No issues at all! Love the look and the performance"

— Jeffery B. (5/5)

Small defect

"Great glasses. Only issue I had was I purchased the regular ones first so they fit a little tight and made my head hurt. But I ended up by the xl ones and they fit a feel way better. But the only issue is I can’t get rid of this smug on the right lens. I’m thinking it is just a defect. But other than that glasses are amazing."

— Ismael R. (4/5)

Love

"Thanks for being hassle free and letting me exchange twice to find the pair I love! Vise xl firestorm sickest shades I’ve ever owned beats my out vipers"

— Samuel S. (5/5)

Perfect shades

"On my 4-5th pair due to dropping them in the water at work over the past 5 years. Absolutely love these things though, perfect for the bigger heads🤙"

— Ben B. (5/5)

Antifreeze Review - Good but not Great

"I like the frame, but the color of the frame itself is not what I expected it to be. Not bad, just not what was expected. The saturation of the green is not as deep as I expected and it looks alot more clear green then a deeper anyi-freeze green. Same is true of the lens. As far as the lens is concerned, the light filter is a lot lighter than what I expected of that color lens, when I was out at my son’s game, the glare was pretty strong and I had to go to my car and switch out for a darker lens since I have a lot of your sunglasses. In general, they are cool and not a bad frame and lens but not what was expected and not sufficient sun blockage."

— Christian B. (3/5)

I purchased thes glasses for

"I purchased thes glasses for the z87 and side protection required at work. The frames are lightweight and more comfortable than the original Vise XL. They provide great frontal and side protection. Side protection is easy to remove and install, an improvement over the original Vise XL. The side protection is dark, but I can see through it so it doesnt affect my peripheral vision. Unfortunately they tend to slip down my nose when I look down. I've received several compliments on the frames. I swapped my prescription Rx lenses from my original Vise XL frames into these and they fit perfectly. I swapped the shaded lenses from these into my original Vise XL and they swapped in perfectly."

— Robin V. (4/5)

Very comfortable, polarized lens are

"Very comfortable, polarized lens are awesome! Pretty light weight, love the side protection! XL is my size for my big ass dome, and they are true to size. Very durable! I wear these at work also. Keeps the sun's ray at bay for sure. I highly recommend these."

— Linda N. (5/5)

Great Work Glasses for Large Faces

"Got these to wear to work. Excellent glasses and they look nice too. Glad to have safety rated sunglasses for various tasks. Price is very good compared to other brands."

— Canaan D. (5/5)

Solid glasses

"Solid glasses. Only thing is need replacement lenses. They scratch easy."

— Lukas S. (5/5)

Just do it, you will not regret it!

"YOOOOO!!!! I absolutely love these shades, the fit, finish, quality are outstanding. I have worn many other brands over the years and consider myself a sunglass/safety glasses aficionado. I ordered 2 pairs on my initial order and definitely want more colors for my collection. People ask me when I wear them what brand they are, #BADASS is what they are. Keep 'em coming Heatwave Crew!!"

— Chris S. (5/5)
