Performance XL VISE Sunglasses: GLOSS WHITE Gold Lens Z87+

A high-shine white finish has hit the rest of the Performance line, paired with our Gold lens. It’s a color combination that never really understood the concept of blending in. Fortunately, these have a little more going for them than just looks, backed by the same Z87+ protection you’re familiar with on the Performance line.

Boasting the same great features as the standard Vise®, The XL version are (you guessed it) EXTRA-LARGE Heat Wave frames.

We took the time-tested design of the Vise® and added an extra 10mm in width and jacked up the ride height to 5mm to provide Godzilla-like, larger than life comfort and coverage.

About The Performance XL Vise®: Introducing a complete evolution in product - We’ve taken our legacy XL Vise® frame and given it a complete overhaul, making them Z87+ out of the box, featuring new performance arms, with an integrated Quick-Latch side-shield system. In the comfort department you will find rubberized touch points throughout the frame also ensuring that the frames stay in place on your face. The cherry on top of the performance line is a lens matched side shield melds form and function together for a look that is flat out stunning and is entirely unique to the performance line.

Performance line features include 2mm thick lenses that meet ANSI Z.87 mass impact requirements plus an all-new extended length arm, specifically designed for our standard frame range, with new beveled emblems. The all-new Quick-Latch side-shield system provides lateral protection from debris and unwanted side light meeting ANSI Z87+ standards with side shields installed. Rubberized Hytrel® inserts are strategically placed in the arms and, notably, now the nose bridge for a fit that is not only more comfortable, but grips and stays in place.

The XL VISE is XTRA-LARGE and in charge. This is our best-selling XL frame and is a true XL. The VISE XL is also a great frame for those with an average to large size head, that just want a bold and roomy XL look.

As far as measurements go, the XL Vise features an added 10mm in width and 5mm height and measures in at 152mm wide for a standard XL width.

I purchased thes glasses for

"I purchased thes glasses for the z87 and side protection required at work. The frames are lightweight and more comfortable than the original Vise XL. They provide great frontal and side protection. Side protection is easy to remove and install, an improvement over the original Vise XL. The side protection is dark, but I can see through it so it doesnt affect my peripheral vision. Unfortunately they tend to slip down my nose when I look down. I've received several compliments on the frames. I swapped my prescription Rx lenses from my original Vise XL frames into these and they fit perfectly. I swapped the shaded lenses from these into my original Vise XL and they swapped in perfectly."

Not for long hair

"They look cool and fit my head nice. It's also a plus they are z87 rated and i can buy replacement lenses, but they just feel kind of cheap. My biggest peeve is the rubber by the ears acts like a barb and snags my hair every time I take them off. The rubber tip is starting to come off the frame because of it. The XL frames are big but don't fit big."

Big Heads

"The glasses are great, especially if you have a bigger head like I myself. The only downside, and it's my own fault, is that I chose the Ultra Black lenses. They're very dark, which makes them hard to wear in shaded or low-light areas. The name says Ultra Black, so I shouldn't have been surprised, but they're just a little too dark for me. If you're mostly in bright sunlight, they're great. If you're in the shade or indoors a lot, you may want to go with a lighter lens."

Awesome XL Vise Sunglasses

"I bought twice the same glasses. the second one had a soft nose cushion and it was my favorite but after the 3rd pair it doesnt come with that feature. I work outside welding and after a few months wearing theses glasses it starts to peel off and leaves my face with black particles. i understand its starts to peel off bc of sweat and sunscreen. but this didnt happened with the glasses that had Cushion on the nose bridge. but overall these are my TO GO glasses bc of the ultra black and XL frame. they work perfectly fine outside specially with welding."
