INTRODUCING LENS PROTECTION FILM (LPF™)
The Heat Wave LPF™ system is a durable, optically clear protective film applied over the lens, creating a sacrificial outer layer that is significantly more scratch-resistant than your traditional sun glass or safety lens.
LPF film absorbs abrasion, wear, and daily abuse, and when it finally reaches its limit, or you just can't stand the scratches anymore, you simply replace the film and not the lens.

Only what’s necessary remains—integrated lateral protection fused directly into the lens edge to meet Z87+ standards, paired with our Performance Series arms for the lightest system we’ve released to date at just 1.2 ounces.

Frame ends and nose pad mount are permanently fused to the lens to reduce weight and eliminate the need for hardware giving a striking all lens look.

"The Skynets are definitely my favorite Heatwaves I’ve purchased so far. The LPF system is great and definitely an added bonus when it comes to protection and longevity of the lenses. My only complaint is that I wish they had more lenses to choose from as far as colors like other models they offer as well as a polarized option for the available colors. Other than that a great pair of safety compliant Z87+ sunglasses that are comfortable all day on site."
"Bought these for low-light/night riding. The anti-fog works great, grippy arms and nose-piece stay on the face well, fit with my MTB helmet is good. Also use these for jobsite eye protection. The LPF system is rad and was easy to apply. Knocked down one star because the lens plastic is really soft and easy to scratch if you don't clean them properly with soapy water, made the mistake of using provided microfiber bag to wipe off some caked on dirt on inside part of lens (no LPF on inner) and it left small scratches but they're still useable."

"The photochromic lenses function flawlessly, however they aren't as dark as I had anticipated. The super chromatic start off as dark as the chromatic, and fade to full sunglasses. I ended up having to buy the super chromatic lenses as well as having the chromatic lenses to be able to see in darker settings as well as desert bright."

The Silver Z87+ lenses are clear, the coverage is excellent, and they feel solid without being heavy. I can use them around the shop, driving, or just out for the day and they work equally well in all three. "I had these glasses on my hatbrim doing yard chores with my dad. He was on the tractor mowing weeds and I was spotting him, making sure he didn't hit anything he wasn't supposed to.
