The ULTRA Black lens has the tint (VLT) cranked down to 6%, compared to industry standards of 11% - These lenses are DARKER and legally should not be used when operating a vehicle. On the other hand, these are the ultimate bright outdoor lens. Whether you are on the snow, sand, a white rooftop or just want the ultimate poolside shark lurking lens these are for you.

The Vise® Z87 features an all TR90 construction and tightly holds form and function together, as the Vise® Z87 meets ANSI Z.87 mass-impact requirements (and Z87+ with add on side-shields) featuring 1.9mm thick lenses to aid in protection against basic impacts and flying debris, which enables the Vise® to transcend just that of a regular pair of sunglasses.

"These glasses are AWESOME. I literally like them better than any expensive pair of Costa’s I’ve ever had. I work in underground utilities. They’ve been splattered with mud by a hydro vac truck - wiped off time and time again, fell off of my head onto dirt, rocks and concrete, hit with grinding sparks, the lenses literally won’t scratch in any meaningful way. By now the Costa’s would’ve been trash even with glass lenses. And the price makes me feel a lot better about losing them compared to others I’ve had. The frames are very comfortable and good looking. The ultra black lenses are SO comfortable in all conditions. I have no complaints at all with these glasses and I will be buying more! They are the same darkness. The polarized one just has an extra anti glare polarized coating on them.
Can the side shields come on and off on the vise glasses
Yes they slide and snap on and off the shades.
