Our best-selling XL Vise® with wizard-like tint transitioning lenses. These adaptive lenses adjust from a light black to a darker black tint depending on the light intensity in your environment and boast a wide VLT range at 40%-10%

Boasting the same great features as the standard Vise®, The XL version is the first pair of (you guessed it) EXTRA-LARGE Heat Wave frames specifically designed for the ones with larger than average heads.

We took the time-tested design of the Vise® and added an extra 10mm in width and jacked up the ride height to 5mm to provide Godzilla-like, larger than life comfort and coverage.

About The Vise® Z87: features an all TR90 construction and tightly holds form and function together, as the Vise® Z87 meets ANSI Z.87 mass-impact requirements (and Z87+ with add on side-shields) featuring 1.9mm thick lenses to aid in protection against basic impacts and flying debris, which enables the Vise® to transcend just that of a regular pair of sunglasses.

Standard vs. Super Photochromic

If our standard Photochromic lenses are wizard-like, the Super Photochromic is the Archmage of lens transition. Super Photochromic lenses get way darker than before by going from a mildly tinted 40% to a darker 10% VLT. Seriously Disappointed.

"For the price point I'm pretty disappointed. They are comfortable and I like the photocromic lenses. However, lenses scratch so easy! After going over their cleaning instructions they were still dirty between frame and lense because frames are fairly deep. Making sure cotton swaps are safe for cleaning between frame and lenses on supposedly all glasses ( I havent ever had an issue with many other sunglasses), getting frames wet and slightly soapy to remove any contamination, you can see exactly where the cotton swap passed to clean in hard to reach places around the lenses. There was no other option to get them clean. I work outside so dust and sweat are always a thing so I remove contamination before cleaning. My 20 dollar amazon zenotic glasses don't even scratch and im tough on them. Used them for years but wanted to get something better. These are supposedly safety glasses and if they scratch this easy, that's disappointment right there. Also the black frames smudge super easy and I have 2 spots where the black ink in the frame has turned grey after a week of use. I was so hopeful. . ."
